Ovora

Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Ovora. Please read the medical section in particular — it is the part that matters most for an app of this kind.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading or using Ovora you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Ovora is provided by Delightful Apps ("we", "us").

2. What Ovora is — and what it is not

Ovora helps you record and read your own observations using the Billings Ovulation Method. It is a charting and education tool.

Ovora is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, a midwife, or a qualified Billings Ovulation Method tutor. Its readings are generated from what you enter; they are only as accurate as your observations, and they are not medical advice.

No method of fertility awareness is certain. Ovora cannot guarantee that you will avoid pregnancy or that you will conceive. The Billings Ovulation Method is highly effective when learned properly and followed consistently, and we strongly encourage instruction from an accredited tutor — but outcomes depend on your body and on how the method is applied, neither of which the app controls. Decisions you make about sex, contraception, conception, and your health are yours, and you make them at your own risk.

If something about your cycle or your health concerns you, speak to a healthcare professional. Nothing in Ovora should delay you doing so.

Pregnancy tracking is educational. Weeks and estimated due dates are calculated from the dates you confirm; they do not confirm a pregnancy or assess its health. Use your care team's dating when available. Artwork is conceptual, not a scan, a prediction of your baby's appearance, or an individual growth measurement. Updating pregnancy status does not automatically resume fertility guidance. Seek medical care promptly for concerning symptoms rather than waiting for the app or Coach.

3. Your data

Your chart belongs to you. How it is stored, what leaves your device, and how to erase all of it is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Ovora gives you a backup and restore feature for exactly this reason. If you delete the app, reset your data, or lose your device without a backup, we can't restore your chart for you. The copy on our server is encrypted and is not a backup.

4. Ovora Plus subscriptions

5. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, resell, or interfere with the app or its services, use it to harm or surveil another person, or use another person's chart without their knowledge. Partner connection is designed to be consensual: it only works when someone deliberately shares a code with you, and either side can disconnect at any time.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features. Ovora works offline by design, so the core of it keeps working without us — but connected features (partner sync, the Coach, subscriptions) depend on third-party services and may be unavailable at times.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ovora is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any pregnancy, failure to conceive, health outcome, lost data, or other loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you use Ovora as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

Any dispute will be heard by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may instead bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.

9. Apple App Store terms (iOS)

This section applies only if you use Ovora on an iPhone, iPad or other Apple device. These terms serve as the end user licence agreement for the iOS version of Ovora. If this section conflicts with anything else in these terms, this section applies to the iOS app.
